This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare organization that delivers a wide range of services, including acute hospital care, community services, and mental health and learning disability support.

About the Trust

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust operates a wide range of healthcare services, including acute hospital care, community services, mental health and learning disability services, and management of a quarter of Somerset’s GP practices. The trust delivers care through two acute hospitals—Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and Yeovil Hospital in Yeovil—along with services from 13 community hospitals across the county, community-based programs, and mental health and learning disability support. Additionally, Symphony Healthcare Services oversees a significant portion of GP practices within Somerset.

The trust was formed through two key mergers. The second merger unified acute services from both hospitals and a substantial number of GP practices in the county.
