Although the role offers mostly working from home, you will also be required to regularly work from their head office in Reading and other locations for meetings and events etc.
What we need from you:
- You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Admin Assistant, or other similar office-based role
- Competent in the use of IT systems, including MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, client records management systems e.g. Qunote (Clinical Records System), MS Teams and SharePoint
- Self-starter, passionate about supporting others to help create a slick service; willing to learn; ability to ask for help when no one is physically around
- Actual working from home experience and set up to do so
- Ability to connect virtually (MS Teams/Zoom etc) with others in the team, including asking for help and proactively seeking guidance
- Flexible – able to work from home or other locations as the business requires
- Organisational skills; team working and able to work on your own initiative
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a clinical setting, using clinical software
- Presentation skills
- Able to use Canva
What the role involves:
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars for the team
- Form an agenda, take notes, finalise, and disseminate minutes of office meetings
- Support with reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed
- Support the team with various administrative projects and tasks
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per year, depending on experience. Hours: Working full time 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 9.30am – 3pm with an additional 2 hours to be worked flexibly each day..
