About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Travel Coordinator to join our client on a part-time basis. This role is designed to support our full-time employees during peak demand periods, providing additional bandwidth to ensure smooth travel arrangements for corporate meetings and events.

Main Duties

  • Plan and Book Travel: Arrange flights, accommodations, and transportation for personnel attending corporate meetings and events.
  • Communicate with Attendees: Gather travel preferences and requirements.
  • Research and Recommend Options: Find travel options that fit client preferences and budgets.
  • Ensure Compliance: Make sure all bookings comply with company policies and budgets.
  • Provide Itineraries and Support: Offer detailed travel itineraries and support throughout the journey.
  • Handle Issues: Address any travel-related problems or emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of travel expenses and prepare reports.
  • Conduct Pricing Audits: Ensure corporate pricing is competitive.
  • Review Procedures: Continuously update standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service: Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in the travel industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with travel booking software (e.g., Concur) and corporate administrative tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently.
  • Corporate Travel Experience: Ideally, experience working for one of the bigger corporate travel firms.

Working Hours:

Minimum Commitment: 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around the worker’s needs.

Notice for Additional Hours: 1-2 weeks notice for any additional hours required.
