Position: Administrative Assistant as Home-Based Product Tester
Salary: $25-$45 per hour

While you won’t be performing traditional administrative tasks, your Administrative Assistant skills will be the cornerstone of your success in this dynamic role as a Home-Based Product Tester. Your ability to meticulously document test results and provide insightful feedback will be invaluable in shaping the future of consumer products.
American Consumer Panels is searching for product testers with Administrative Assistant backgrounds from every corner of the United States. We welcome individuals of all ages, races, education levels, and income statuses. Your unique perspective is crucial for creating products that resonate with everyone. As a home-based Product Tester, you’ll never have to pay for or buy anything—every product is provided without charges, the companies cover all shipping costs, and your participation is always free, safe, and private.
To become a Product Tester, you’ll start with a pre-qualification phase conducted by two leading consumer research companies. This ensures a perfect match between your consumer profile, demographics, and the testing opportunities available.
During your application process, reputable market research companies will determine your demographics and consumer profile to establish what products would be suitable for you to test. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged, and to achieve the representative sample needed.
Main Duties
- Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (snapshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
- Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly
- Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
- Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour’s Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion® insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses)
- Engage in private chat rooms with market research professionals to discuss tested products and write reviews as requested.
- Write reviews as requested in each project’s In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule.

Qualifications
- Excellent ability to follow precise instructions

- Be able to work 15-20 hours per week and commit to a specific routine
- Have access to a cell phone that takes pictures
