About Treehoppers
Treehoppers operates two Forest Kindergartens: one located in woodland within the grounds of East Grinstead Sports Club, where the ‘invisible doors’ opened in October 2018, and a second setting at Borde Hill Gardens in Haywards Heath, which opened on 4th May 2021. The organization is deeply passionate about the outdoors and its many benefits. About the Role
Treehoppers Forest Kindergarten have two settings in East Grinstead & Haywards Heath for children aged 2 and over. We are looking for maternity cover for our remote working admin assistant role at Treehoppers, to begin in March or April 2025 until at least January 2026. This date may however get extended and the role may continue with shorter hours past January 2026.
Responsibilities
- Our admin assistant runs the ‘back office’ of Treehoppers efficiently to enable our staff team to focus on leading and growing our Kindergartens.
- You will deal with new enquiries, manage our waiting lists, produce invoices, and update spreadsheets/ databases to ensure we keep on top of our admin.
- You will also provide support to our management team, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided to our families.
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone with proven organisational and administrative skills, who is proficient using IT and is personable with good communication skills.
- You need to have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- You will need to comply with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation and be aware of confidentiality & safeguarding.
Our Kindergartens are open Monday – Thursday 8-4 and Friday 9-3 but you can be flexible on start & finish times if you have school runs of your own to factor in. We would need a minimum of 25 hours each week, but more hours are likely to be available.
