Position: Administrative Assistant
Salary: £12.77 to £13.16 an hour

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Duties
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using various computerised systems.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including basic knowledge of databases for invoicing and financial tracking.
- Organise and maintain files, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy access to information.
- Support clerical duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to assist in project coordination as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines is advantageous.
