Position: Administrative Assistant

Salary: £25.000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software and excellent communication skills, making it vital for maintaining efficient workflows and fostering a positive work environment.

Main Duties

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Manage clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Provide general office support, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping and invoicing.
  • Organise schedules, meetings, and appointments for team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organised office space to promote productivity.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Google Suite applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in using office software including Google Suite and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong clerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
