Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our workshop operations. This role involves managing various clerical tasks, maintaining efficient communication channels, and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and prior office experience. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating calendars efficiently
  • Assisting with correspondence, including drafting emails
  • Supporting invoicing, billing, and other financial administrative duties using relevant software
  • Reconciling Accounts and Supporting Accountants with tasks.
  • Screening emails for Company Director
  • Updating Internal systems with order details
  • Working with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure precise stock ordering and stock management

Skills

  • Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures such as filing systems and record management
