Salary Range: From £12.85 per hour

About the Role

The role will involve providing general administrative support to the department/team/office (reword as appropriate).

Responsibilities

The role will primarily be home based, with occasional visits to site/office, when required.

To provide administrative support, reporting to the Administration Manager in Estimating & Proposals (Water Sector). Work as part of bid team.

  • Reports to Administration Manager (Estimating/Proposals).
  • Assist with maintenance of Estimating teams Channels and document control and the storage and retrieval of general and historical estimating records.
  • Maintaining organised filing systems (digital) and managing databases to ensure easy access for estimating team, to important documents for pricing.
  • Preparing document registers, editing, and distributing documents.
  • Providing general support to staff members, including assistance with various administrative tasks.
  • Function as single point of contact with Document Control teams on specific projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Qualifications

Essential

  • English and Maths GCSE Level 5 or equivalent

Desirable

  • NVQ level 2 in Business Administration
