We are holding a Care Open Day on Tuesday 2nd December at Emily House, 202-208 Kensal Road, W10 5BN from 1:30pm-3:30pm.

Summary:

Provide compassionate care and vital support to individuals with diverse needs, working flexibly within a bank staff team to enhance wellbeing and independence across care settings in London.

Salary: £13.95 per hour

Location: London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, medication, and meal preparation
  • Promote dignity, choice, and independence for every individual
  • Record and report accurately any changes in service user condition
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality at all times
  • Respond promptly in emergency situations and follow established procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in care or support work, paid or voluntary
  • Understanding of safeguarding and basic health & safety practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service users and team members
  • Commitment to delivering person-centred care
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain

Nice-to-have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities
