Shaftesbury North East is recruiting Bank Enabling Support Workers to join our Newcastle based services.

About the Role

As a Bank Enabling Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide tailored support and encouragement, following individual person‑centred support plans
  • Take direction from the people we support to promote independence and choice
  • Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements
  • Support with personal care and medication administration where required
  • Flexible working to fit around your availability
  • Opportunity to cover sleep‑in shifts
  • £60 additional payment per sleep‑in

Shaftesbury North East delivers Independent Living services supporting people with a wide range of needs and living situations.

Whether support is needed for:

One or two hours

Daytime or community activities

Or up to 24‑hour care

We support people of all ages — from late teens through to older adults — helping them access local activities, community services, and live life on their own terms.
