About the Role:
- You will be supporting the various care services that you have access to with any gaps in the rota based on your availability. Gaps in the rota are usually due to long term sick and annual leave and are released 4 – 6 weeks in advance.
- While on duty you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable adults and young people with a person-centred approach in a variety of different care settings.
- In the Bank Support Worker role, you will be required to read up on support / care plans before arriving and support the regular team to achieve and empower the people living in the service.
- This may include (but is not limited to) supporting with personal care, going out on day trips on one to one or in groups and arranging and partaking in activities all the while promoting and supporting the independence of those we care for. This is done while ensuring the privacy and dignity of those we support is always preserved and completing all required reports in a timely manner.
