McCarthy Stone is seeking a warm, friendly, and dedicated Care and Support Assistant to support residents within a high-quality retirement living environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for making a positive difference, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional approach to care and support. A minimum of one year’s experience in a UK health and social care role is preferred.

Pay: Starting at £13.26 per hour, with enhanced rates up to £14.56 *depending on shifts during weekends and evenings.

Role Highlights

As a Care and Support Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively. Your daily tasks will include light domestic duties, coordinating resident activities, and assisting with appointments and shopping. Each day will be diverse, allowing you to make a significant impact on residents’ wellbeing.

About You

  • Location: Ideally located within commuting distance to our estate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a UK health and social care role is preferred, with a passion for working with older adults. A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.
