Position: Care Assistant

Salary: £11.50 to £12.53 an hour

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Yeovil, UK

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. If you are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and enjoy providing top-quality care, this role is perfect for you. We offer sponsorship for overseas candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.

Main Duties

  • Deliver person-centered care to our service users in their own homes
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide companionship and support to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Administer or prompt medication in accordance with the care plan
  • Support meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a balanced diet
  • Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Monitor and report any changes in the health and well-being of service users
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of care provided

Qualifications

  • Experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Right to work in the UK or eligibility for visa sponsorship
