Country Court is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join its team in Peterborough on a Bank Days basis. The home has been designed for residents living with dementia in mind and incorporates themed areas to facilitate meaningful activities for residents including its own pub, hairdressing salon and nail spa, corner shop and café bistro not to mention the beautiful outdoor spaces, for relaxation.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- Supporting residents at meals time
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Be no stranger to working long shifts
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
