Summary
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our domiciliary care team. This role involves providing person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting their daily living needs and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Administering medication as per individual care plans.
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health or well-being.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment for clients.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes or concerns
- Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a domiciliary care setting in the UK (essential)
Skills & Qualities:
- Fluent in spoken and written English (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude
- Flexible and able to work independently
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
