At Garforth care homes we are looking for a care assistant to work 15 hours per week to work alongside our established teams (we do not use agency staff).
The Hollies is a residential care home where residents have dementia care needs. St Armand’s Court is the sister home which is next door, and caters for general residential care.
Care assistants will be required to deliver personal and psychological care to ensure our residents care needs are being met. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
The salary ranges from £12.21 – £12.43 per hour dependent on qualifications. Free training will be provided and staff will have the option to complete an apprenticeship to further their qualifications, following a successful probationary period.
Contracted hours will be between 15- 30 per week and worked on a roster over seven days, shift times will be either 7am-2.30pm or 2.30pm-10pm.
