Are you compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to making a genuine difference? Hartford Care is looking for a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our friendly One Team community, supporting residents to live with dignity, independence and comfort throughout the night.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide personalised care and support, ensuring each resident’s privacy, dignity and choices are upheld.
  • Offer physical, emotional and social support, creating a warm, caring overnight atmosphere.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, continence, nutrition and general wellbeing.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and support with light domestic duties.
  • Communicate clearly with residents, colleagues, families and professionals.
  • Accurately record care notes, follow care plans and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Support residents’ interests and preferences, promoting person-centred care.
  • Uphold Hartford Care values as a champion and ambassador for exceptional care.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Strong communication and basic IT skills
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Desired:

  • Experience in a residential care setting
  • Knowledge of person-centred care, dementia or end-of-life care
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
