Job summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, fostering independence while delivering compassionate care.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in both care home settings and home care situations.
  • Document any changes in client condition or behaviour accurately and promptly.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ overall well-being.
  • Utilise IT tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them diligently is advantageous.
  • Experience in a home care or care home setting would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients as needed.
