Work Locations As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across Basildon and the surrounding areas, primarily covering:
Brentwood, Billericay, Harlow, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Havering, Redbridge, Wickford, and the surrounding communities.
Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required due to the geographical nature of the role.
Competitive Pay & Travel Support We know that traveling between clients is a core part of community care, so we make sure you are fully supported and compensated for your time on the road!
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Paid Travel Time: You are paid for your travel time between visits (Travel Time Top-Up included!)
Mileage Allowance: 28p per mile

Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
As a Care Professional, you’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes:
- Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence support.
- Medication Support: Helping clients manage their prescriptions safely.
- Meal Preparation: Assisting with cooking and nutrition.
- Practical Tasks: Shopping and light housekeeping (laundry, tidying).
- Companionship: Providing vital emotional support and a friendly face.
- Care Planning: Following personalised plans designed to promote dignity and independence.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!) You don’t need formal care experience! The skills you’ve gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. We’re looking for:
- Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others
- Reliability and a naturally caring nature
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
