Adept Care is looking for a caring and dependable Care Assistant to join Chetwynd House Care Home in Nottingham. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering a fulfilling role supporting residents with their daily needs and helping them maintain independence and wellbeing.

This role welcomes individuals with a positive attitude and strong communication skills, who enjoy working as part of a team. While previous experience in care is helpful, it is not essential, as full training and support are provided to help you thrive in the role.

Pay & Hours:

£12.36 per hour

22–44 hours per week (overtime available)

Day shifts: 07:00–19:00 (alternate weekends)

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect
  • Support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities
  • Build strong relationships as a key worker for residents
  • Accurately record care notes and report any changes in condition
  • Support and supervise care staff to maintain high standards
  • Encourage participation in leisure and social activities
  • Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, caring, and compassionate attitude (essential)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous care experience (desirable but not essential)
