The Role
- We’re looking for experienced Care Assistants to join our team. We have full time, part time and Bank positions available.
- You’ll be supporting a small number of service users – both younger and older adults – in the Yate, Winterbourne, Emersons Green areas.
Your work will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and medication prompts
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Supporting with meal preparation and light domestic tasks
- Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, or community activities
- Encouraging independence and confidence in daily life
- Maintaining accurate and respectful care records

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience in domiciliary, residential, or community care
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
- Good spoken and written English
- Flexibility to work a mix of mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Experience supporting clients with personal care or complex needs
- Confident in providing companionship and promoting independence
- Personal Attributes
We’re looking for Support Workers who are:
- Kind, patient, and respectful
- Proactive and able to use their initiative
- Comfortable working independently with regular team support
- Good communicators who enjoy building trusted relationships
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, plus every other weekend
Some flexibility for evening work
Local travel between clients (mileage paid when using your own vehicle)
