Superior Healthcare are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to support our client in Peterborough. Our client is living with the effects of a brain injury and spinal injury, requiring attentive, person-centered care to promote independence, comfort, and quality of life within their own home.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll work long-term with one or a few clients, supporting one person per shift. You’ll assist clients with brain injury management, spinal injury, PEG feeding, medication, personal care, moving and handling, and daily living tasks.
About the Role
Your role is to support with working towards rehabilitation goals and daily support including personal care. You will be a driver so you can take the client to appointments and days out and ideally speak both English and Lithuanian.
Your Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will support the client with:
- Personal care and daily living activities
- Mobility assistance and safe moving & handling
- Medication administration (following training)
- Monitoring health, wellbeing, and behaviour changes
- Supporting therapy programmes as advised by clinical professionals
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality care
- Patient and confident supporting individuals with complex needs
- Able to work independently and follow care plans accurately
- A good communicator with a warm, professional approach
- Experience with brain injury, spinal injury, PEG Feeding or complex care is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- At least 12 months’ experience in a care role
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings or weekends
- You must be based in the UK to apply for this role – we do not offer VISA sponsorship.
Working Hours
Initially:
Daily shifts at the rehab facility:
7:00am–2:30pm
2:30pm–10:00pm
Future:
Expected transition to 12‑hour shifts once the client returns home
Potential patterns: 7/7 or 8/8 rotation
Timescale for this change is still being finalised
Pay
£14.30 – £17.60 per hour
