Job Title: Domiciliary Care Support Worker

Company: Quartz Care

Reporting to: Registered Manager

Purpose: We have an exciting new opportunity, for the right candidates- based across the Liverpool area. L4, L5 and L6. We are looking for candidates that are able to work Domiciliary Care between the hours of 7am-11pm.

We are recruiting for both Drivers and Walkers across this area, walkers MUST be able to commute reliably to the position.

Please note, we do not offer Sponsor. Applications requiring Sponsor will not be reviewed.

The role of a Care Assistant is to work without direct supervision in the home of the client, providing high-quality care and support. This includes personal, social, and domestic assistance while adhering to the client’s individual care and support plan. The goal is to enable clients to remain safely in their own homes with as much independence as possible.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care:

  • Assist clients with personal care needs as detailed in their individual care plan.
  • Ensure clients understand available care and treatment choices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and other professionals.
  • Report significant changes in clients’ health and support needs to the Team Leader.
  • Administer clients’ medication in line with company policy.

Safeguarding and Safety:

  • Identify and prevent potential abuse.
  • Respond to allegations of abuse.
  • Report incidents or accidents promptly.
  • Maintain hygiene standards and infection control.

Communication and Relationships:

  • Understand company policies and procedures.
  • Promote clients’ right to choice and independence.
  • Treat clients with respect, privacy, and dignity.

Hours ranging between: 7am-11pm Domiciliary work, between Monday to Sunday – must be available for at least 1 day every weekend or alternate weekends
