Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £12.82-£13.50 per hour

The role

Job Title: Care Assistant (you should be based in Reading or surrounding areas)

The Company will be providing care and support to individual people; from daily hourly visits up to full 24 hour care. Therefore, we have a combination of work patterns available which could easily help you achieve the perfect home/work life balance.

Duties:

  • Providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes or in care facilities
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Following care plans and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and procedures

Schedule:

Monday to Sunday (Mornings & Evenings)

The position is subject to a suitable Enhanced DBS check and references.

Care experience – you must have at least 6 months experience working in the UK as a Care Assistant in a domiciliary care setting

You MUST hold a Full UK valid Driving License & access to own vehicle essential
