Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting individuals with a variety of needs, helping them live comfortably and safely at home. Your role will include:
- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.)
- Assisting with medication support
- Helping with mobility (including the use of equipment)
- Supporting with meal preparation and feeding
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light household tasks (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
- Encouraging hobbies, activities, and social engagement
Requirements:
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (shift patterns are fixed once agreed, with changes requiring 4 weeks’ notice)
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
