Bluebird Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for its Basingstoke team, with switch-of-sponsorship opportunities available for eligible candidates already living locally. While previous experience is helpful, it is not essential, as full induction training is provided to ensure every new team member feels confident and prepared. Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle and must already reside within the Basingstoke area. The position also requires availability to work every other weekend as part of a fair and balanced rota.

Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
- Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
- Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
- Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
- Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements
- *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*
- You MUST already live in the area of Basingstoke
- You will be required to work every other weekend

- Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as a full Induction will be provided
