Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a care home specialising in senior care, including dementia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the care home, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
  • Excellent command of the English IELTS B2 above
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents.
  • Supervise and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, training supervision, and performance management to uphold high standards of care.
  • Oversee medication administration in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Monitor the quality of care provided, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance resident wellbeing.
  • Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Promote a safe and homely environment by ensuring health & safety standards are met consistently.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within care environments, or similar.
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent supervising skills.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices related to care.
  • Experience in developing and managing care plans.
  • Competence in medication administration following legal guidelines.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members.
