Over the past 122 years, St Elizabeth’s has grown to include a non-maintained Specialist School for both boarders and day students, a Sixth Form, a specialist Further Education College, Supported Living services both onsite and in the community, a comprehensive Day Opportunities programme for adult day clients, and 24-hour health provision delivered by specialist nurses and therapists.
Previously one of the charitable works of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège, a Catholic religious congregation founded in 1833 in Belgium, St Elizabeth’s became an independent charity on October 1, 2018. What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting children and young people between the ages of 5 – 19 years with their care and education.
- Enabling our learners to participate in activities and have fun outside of school hours including bowling, swimming, cinema trips, sports, baking and sensory groups both on and offsite.
- Recording, supporting and celebrating personal achievements and milestones, keeping all documentation up to date
- Developing skills according to person centred plans supporting with personal care and medication where needed
