Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Helping with personal care such as; washing, dressing, hair, dental and skincare
- Medication administration and management
- Taking service users to appointments
- Companionship
- Continence care
- Assistance with mobility and transfer
- Helping with light housework like laundry cleaning
Care Worker Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have at least six months’ worth of previous experience in doing domiciliary care.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 37.5hrs per week, as well as able to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Must have a full, clean UK driving license and access to your own car is vital.
- Must have an enhanced DBS which is also on the renewal service.
- The minimum educational requirement for a Care Worker is A-Levels or GCSEs. First Aid skills and an NVQ in Health and Social Care (Levels 2 and 3) are preferable. Previous experience in home care, community or charity is essential.
- Candidates living in Sittingbourne/Sheerness preferable.
