Within your role you will:
- Help support care staff in delivering the highest standards of individual care to meet the emotional, social, spiritual, physical and psychological needs of older people within our care home.
- Be able to assess residents’ needs and plan their care exhibiting good teamwork and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Report to the care home manager on a daily basis or as required.
- Have good organizational skills, time management and be able to maintain resident records e.g. care plan
- Be creative, inspiring, and organized.
- An excellent role model to others, supporting fellow colleagues in their practice and professional development.
- Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team as and when required e.g. nurses, doctors, pharmacy, etc.
- As a ‘people person with a warm and empathetic personality, you will have a flair for making things happen. You will be committed to ensuring the home, its residents, and staff are involved in the local community, so a genuine enthusiasm for our residents is essential.
