Home Support Services has been providing Domiciliary Home Care in Derby and the surrounding villages of Derbyshire since 1994. We look for people who have the right values to work with our team and if you are a caring and compassionate person and want to make a difference to the lives of others.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individuals with or without experience in care and to support an established team providing Health and Social Care in the community to adults of all ages living in their own homes.
At HSS we place a strong emphasis on training and development and your training will include the Care Certificate. This training replaces all other national occupational standards in induction to Care and is something that will stay with you and you can build on with Health and Social Care NVQ – Level 2 and 3

What we’re looking for from you:
- You’ll support people with all aspects of their day to day living, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility and meal times
- Be caring and compassionate and enthusiastic about providing the highest level of care
- Excellent understanding of well-being and holistic person centred care
- Helping with personal care such as support with showering and dressing
- Supporting people with social and physical activities
- Supporting people with eating and drinking and helping with medication
- Travelling to different people’s houses on a schedules
- Available to work evenings and alternative weekends
- Able to provide two satisfactory reference
- Own transport essential
