Salary: £12.21-£14.50 per hour

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our Home Care team. In this role, you will be supporting individuals to live independently in their own homes or community settings. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect and wellbeing, tailored to their unique needs. We cover Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Upchurch, Doddington, Faversham, Maidstone and surrounding areas of Kent.

Key Responsibilities

As a Care Worker, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with Autism, dementia, Learning disabilities, age related, mental health or social related issues from ages 18yrs in their homes or community settings
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, personal hygiene, continence management, oral care and medication administration.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being.
  • Engaging in behaviour management techniques to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist clients with mobility or transfers.
  • Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required.
  • Assisting with light household tasks.
  • Collaborating with other social and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client care and progress.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in care or caregiving roles is preferred.
  • A background in older Person, learning disability, mental health or complex care is advantageous.
  • Experience in working in Domicillary or community settings
  • Kind, caring, and reliable individual with a passion for helping others.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Immediate start

Requirement

  • Must hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (Essential)
  • Right to Work in UK with no restriction (Essential)
  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Will consider Dependant with Skilled Sponsorship
  • Work full-time including weekends, bank and public holiday
