About The Role

Do you have a passion for helping people with dementia live well and enjoy their lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sandbanks care home in Feltham as a care worker.

The Older people resource centres are an important part of the Care Services provided in Hounslow. If you would like to join us at this exciting time in the development of our services we have vacancies for the following staff at Sandbanks Resource Centre which is registered care home for 60 people over the age of 55 Years, for people who live with the experience of Dementia and physical disabilities. We are Sandbanks a CQC registered care home in Feltham and we provide a 60 place residential care for adults over the age of 55years, some of whom have dementia.

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own! We’re seeking to recruit some great new care workers; people with the right values and behaviours to work in our residential care service – could this be you? You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, a general guide, duties may include support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, and social occasions. You may be wondering if you have the right qualifications and experience to apply for this role. Formal certificates or previous work experience in a care worker, are desirable but what matters most to us, is your attitude and your willingness to learn.
