Position: Care Worker

Salary: £12.25 – £18 per hour

About the Role:

SuppLiCan Care and Support is a provider of homecare services across Dorset. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals in need. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Homecare Assistants to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support services to clients in their homes based on their individual care plans.
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Building a strong rapport with clients and their families to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the care team.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role a requirement.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
