Caremark (Sheffield & Rotherham) are recruiting Children’s Support Workers to work in Sheffield and Rotherham.
At Caremark (Sheffield & Rotherham) we support Children and young adults adults to live an independent and full lifestyle.
(Due to our client’s preference, it would be advantageous if applicants are able to drive with a UK driving licence.)
You will be trained specifically in your clients’ needs to ensure your competency and skills. You will be supported and guided throughout your role by our management team to help your progression in your role.
We have available work for DAYS or NIGHTS working FULL TIME and PART TIME DAYS .
The role involves supporting individuals with their daily living activities such as:
- Personal care
- Nutrition & hydration requirements (specialised feeding techniques)
- Medication administration
- Community access undertaking activities your client enjoys such as going to the park, bowling, swimming, arts/crafts, shopping, meals out, concerts. Literally any activity our clients are interested in!
- Accessing and accompanying at school
- Accompanying to use public transport
- Companionship
Your availability for work requires to remain the same as you will be supporting your own clients on a regular basis on either a one to one or two to one basis.
The support visits are from 4 hours up to 12 hour blocks at any one time during the day and night.
