Client Care & Operations Assistant – Remote (BarrettStacey Accounting Limited)

BarrettStacey Accounting Limited is seeking a proactive Client Care & Operations Assistant to support its growing remote team. The ideal candidate is confident engaging with clients, whether by phone or during occasional Zoom meetings, and demonstrates a professional, friendly communication style.

Strong organisational ability, reliable problem-solving skills, and confidence working to deadlines are essential. Previous administrative experience is required, and a basic understanding of bookkeeping will be an advantage. Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £16,960.12-£27,503.88 per year

About the Role

This isn’t traditional admin.

This is client care, operations, tech, organisation, and momentum.

If you love streamlining things, spotting what needs doing before anyone asks, and helping small businesses feel supported, you’ll fit right in.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30 am –12.30 pm

Location: UK only, fully remote

Start: As soon as possible

You’ll be brilliant for this role if you…

  • Are confident speaking with clients, picking up the phone, and jumping on the occasional Zoom call
  • Love tech, systems, and making things more efficient
  • Enjoy organising, problem-solving, and keeping things moving
  • Are comfortable working to deadlines
  • Have admin experience
  • Have basic bookkeeping knowledge (ideal)
  • Have experience in an accountancy practice (bonus, not essential)

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welcoming new clients and managing onboarding
  • Preparing and sending proposals & invoices
  • Supporting our Practice Manager with daily operations
  • Gathering records from clients (bank statements, receipts etc.)
  • Handling initial screening calls with prospects
  • Supporting the team with AML checks & confirmation statements
  • Assisting clients with simple queries
  • Helping us deliver a friendly & proactive service every day

Salary is Pro Rata – We have used Indeed Recommendations however, we will discuss final salary offer upon job offer and will be based on experience.
