Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Leeds
About the Role
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you an excellent collaborator, comfortable supporting engagement with diverse teams? Can you create campaigns to support the communication of strategic projects critical to the student experience? Are you organised, planned and can measure the effectiveness of your communications?
Working in the Facilities Directorate (FD) as part of the Marketing, Sales and Communications team, you will make sure that the FD’s Estates and Facilities team can deliver their critical work by facilitating the flow of information between Faculties, Estates colleagues, external contractors and University stakeholders. Your work will be vital in ensuring the University community understands key estate projects and supports the minimising of campus disruptions through supporting effective engagement. With an ongoing capital plan investment programme to deliver student-focused campus improvements, and the sector-leading Campus Reimagined project newly launched, this is a very exciting moment to be joining the team in a busy role.
You will work closely with project managers and contractors to create communications and content for use across a wide array of audience channels and manage the highly successful social media accounts that promote work to improve the campus.
Aligning with the FD’s Business Plan and the University’s Strategy, the role includes proactively supporting the communications needs of essential services such as Security and Cleaning as well as business critical, reactive work around disruptions on campus.
