Position: Community Care Worker

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 a year

Job Type: Full Time

About the Role

We are recruiting for Experienced Community / Domiciliary Carers for our client in South West who can provide sponsorship / visa assistance.

If you already have the right to work this would be highly advantageous and roles available with immediate start, though sponsorship can be offered for candidates looking to switch their Visa. YOU MUST BE IN THE UK ALREADY TO BE CONSIDERED.

Essential to have a driving license and be confident to drive daily in the UK as part as your working day.

You will ideally need to have a minimum of 1 yrs. Community care experience in the UK

Main Duties

  • Supporting clients with day-to-day tasks such as toileting, washing and bathing, meals and medication
  • Driving to each client in a safe and professional manner
  • Offering great levels of support to allow their independence.
  • Helping with mealtimes and activities
  • Following all health and safety rules in place
  • Being friendly and supportive to the clients you care for

Qualifications

  • Ideally min 3 years healthcare experience, either in hospital or care home or community setting
  • Min of 6-12 months UK care experience, ideally within community / live in care setting
  • Recognised Healthcare qualification would be highly advantageous such as NVQ etc
  • Excellent English skills
  • Driving license, happy to drive in the UK and full UK driving license
  • Possess own vehicle / car
  • Friendly and kind nature
  • Enjoy caring for the elderly and vulnerable.
  • Able to provide police check from home country, IELTS, TB test ( if applicable) and recommendations
