Founded by Sue and Jared Uwins, Xtracare Ltd specializes in offering both low dependency and high dependency care for patients across West Kent, including Maidstone, Larkfield, Kings Hill, East Peckham, Ditton, Marden, Detling, West Kingsdown, Wrotham, Yalding, West Malling, Headcorn, Boxley, Addington, Wouldham, Burham, Cuxton, Aylesford, Bearsted, and Snodland.

In recent years, the company’s approach has led to rapid growth, driven by recommendations, positive word-of-mouth from satisfied clients, and the exceptional efforts of the team of nurses, carers, and home care providers.

Xtracare Ltd invests in its low and high dependency care team by arranging specialist courses in health and safety, manual handling, loss and bereavement, and managing conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. All home care providers have, or are working towards, NVQ Level 2 in care, with the company funding carers with potential to pursue higher NVQ levels.

Position: Community Home Carers

Salary: From £11.50 an hour

Job Type: Full Time

Qualifications

  • Experience is an advantage but not essential as a free fully continuous training program including The Skills for Care – Care Certificate and induction training will be provided.
  • You Must be able to drive with the use of own car and a mobile phone
  • You must use the company care system for logging calls and information
  • You must have a good standard of written and verbal English and be able to communicate effectively
  • You must keep up-to-date with all training as required
  • You must be able to remain calm and show patience and understanding of service users’ needs
  • You must be able to work alternate weekends or a Saturday or Sunday each week. (two weekdays off when working weekends)
  • Employment subject to Proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
