 Established in 2005, Diligenta, a UK-based FCA-regulated subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), is a leading provider of business process services for the Life and Pensions (L&P) industry.

Diligenta aims to transform clients’ operations by utilizing its industry-leading platform and digital capabilities, supporting clients in launching new products and propositions. It combines in-depth knowledge of life assurance with TCS’ proven IT, digital, platform, and delivery capabilities to deliver transformation for clients in a competitive marketplace.

TCS and Diligenta work with seven of the top ten UK L&P insurers. In a short period, Diligenta has achieved several key milestones and has established itself as one of the UK’s largest players in the Life and Pension Business Process Solutions (BPS) space. Diligenta has secured a series of groundbreaking deals and now administers policies on behalf of clients including The Phoenix Group, Aviva, Sun Life Financial of Canada UK, Scottish Widows, and M&G Prudential. In partnership with TCS, Diligenta also provides support to NEST, the UK government’s workplace pension scheme.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Salary: £21,840-£23,000

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Remote)

About the Role

You’ll join a people and technology-driven business, taking inbound calls from customers about their life assurance, savings, investments, or pension plans. Whether assisting customers plan for retirement, accessing investments, updating personal information, or supporting families during bereavements, you’ll ensure a seamless experience during the moments that matter.

Many new colleagues come from contact centres, retail, hospitality, or travel backgrounds, so financial services experience isn’t required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience with empathy and respect, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Someone who has excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and able to simplify complex matters whilst providing outstanding service.
  • A problem solver, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable switching between multiple IT applications with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Excited to work with great people and create a supportive workplace.
  • Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge to enhance skills and develop best practices.
