As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support various departments through data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
This will be joining a remote team so will be homebased with some occasional travel to our offices in the UK as and when required.
How you’ll make an impact
- Collect, clean, and analyse data from diverse sources to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality control measures and data validation processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and projects as needed.
About You
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proficient experience in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
- A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field would be preferred but is not essential
