Duties:

  • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and VBA to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations employing Tableau and Power BI to communicate key insights effectively.
  • Perform comprehensive business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Design and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and optimise database structures through effective database design principles.
  • Manage projects related to data analysis initiatives, ensuring adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions using Visio for process mapping.
  • Utilise Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks and data processing workflows.
  • Support project management activities by tracking progress and delivering timely reports on analytical findings.

Experience

  • Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of SQL, analysis skills, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Demonstrable expertise in programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
  • Experience in database design, VBA scripting, Bash (Unix shell), and SDLC processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational skills with proficiency in Visio for process documentation.
