Salary: SCP -18-22 , £29,269 – 31,364 (pro rata)

Actual Salary: Starting from £26,466.49  per year

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)

Location: Oasis Academy Brightstowe, Shirehampton, Bristol

Start Date: March 2026

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Officer to join our team at Oasis Academy Brightstowe. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and effective use of data across the Academy. If you enjoy problem-solving, have excellent IT skills, and want to make a real impact in education, we’d love to hear from you!

As Data Officer, you will:

  • Lead on the development, maintenance, and management of the Academy’s MIS (Bromcom).
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with statutory requirements, including School Census and GDPR.
  • Produce accurate reports and analysis to support senior leaders and teaching staff in raising standards.
  • Oversee the Academy assessment cycle and publish academic reports to parents.
  • Support the construction and maintenance of the Academy timetable.
  • Deliver training to staff on data systems and processes.
