Golden Living Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to support individuals within the Biddulph community. While previous experience in home care or a residential care environment is preferred, it is not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided for the right candidate.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals within their own home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, assisting them with daily activities and promoting their independence.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
- Help implement care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or within a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and communicating within the team.

School hour work is offered as a 0 hour contract
We offer permanent contracts of either 20 hours or 37.5 hours per week with plenty of work across Staffordshire!

Our organisation supports candidates looking for COS, please be aware that this will not be offered immediately.
All candidates will be required to commence work with ourselves on part time of full time basis depending on what your visa allows.
All candidates will be required to work a minimum of 3 months with us before COS is considered.
This is not a guarantee that COS will be offered, this will only depend on you achieving our criteria successfully.
