Our Care Support Workers help people live safely and independently in their own homes while giving those that care for them valuable respite time.

About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you’ll visit people in their own homes to provide personal, practical, and emotional support. Every visit is different — you might help someone with washing, dressing, and preparing meals, or provide companionship and support to attend appointments or community activities.

Your main duties will include:

  • Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, medication support)
  • Supporting people with mobility in their home (including use of equipment such as hoists or wheelchairs)
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating or drinking
  • Helping with light domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry)
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting with shopping, appointments, or community activities
  • Reporting any concerns about safety or wellbeing
  • Following personalised care and support plans

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in domiciliary or home care (paid or unpaid)
  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Respect for confidentiality and safeguarding
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for travelling between home visits)
