We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, fostering independence and dignity in their daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalised care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a compassionate approach to care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
- A valid full UK driving licence is required
- Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
