As a Care Assistant, you’ll be there as a friend to provide not just the practicalities of supporting with the home, personal care, and meals, but to be a good listener, someone who is a true companion so the person can go about their life as they like, with a helping hand by their side.

Requirements

  • A kind and caring nature
  • Be able to have heartfelt conversations with the person and provide friendship with a big heart, and be a good listener
  • To be able to prepare meals from scratch and share great food
  • Help with shopping for groceries
  • Take customers on outings that you will both talk about for days
  • Help with pursuing hobbies, whether it’s knitting at home or visiting a garden centre, or enjoying a drive in the countryside
  • You must be a driver with a full UK driver’s licence
  • Must have a DBS on the update service
  • Must already be working as a care assistant, preferably with Live-in Care Experience
  • You must be able to commit to both Live-In Care & Home Care

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care duties,
  • Administering medication,
  • Manual handling, using equipment where required,
  • Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.
