Caley Home Care Ltd is recruiting a Female Care Assistant (Driver) to join its home care team supporting clients across Perth and Kinross. About The Role:
- 2 Week Rota (W1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun. W2: Wed, Thu, Fri)
- 07:00-14:00 AND 16:00-22:30
- £14.00 per hour
- £0.35 per mile (mileage claim)
- Biweekly pay schedule (Fridays, fortnightly)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- Own car and valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)
- Currently residing in the UK on one of the following visas: Student, Graduate, Dependent
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
