Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be making a real difference in people’s lives by providing high-quality care at home. Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care – helping with washing, dressing & continence care
- Supporting with meal preparation and medication
- Companionship – helping clients stay socially engaged
- Assisting with light housework and shopping
- Supporting clients with safe moving and handling
Working Hours
Full flexibility is essential
Shifts will include long days, split shifts (7:30 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm)
Alternate weekends required
Who We’re Looking For
- You must have a valid UK driving licence & access to your own car (this is essential)
- You must live locally in or near Preston & know the surrounding community well
- Strong previous of domiciliary care experience required
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
A compassionate, reliable, and positive approach to care
